Ross was born in Havre, Montana, and spent most of his childhood in Richey, Montana.  In addition, he also lived for a while in Lewistown and Glendive, Montana.  After high school, Ross spent a year of under-graduate school at Montana Tech in Butte, Montana, before transferring to MSU-Billings.  While in Billings, he interned with the Yellowstone County Public Defender’s Office as an assistant investigator intern.

After graduating Cum Laude from MSU-Billings with a B.S. in Psychology and a Minor in Political Science, Ross attended Gonzaga University School of Law.  While in law school, he interned for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Washington.  Also during law school, Ross received awards in Legal Research & Writing, Property, and Gas & Oil Law.  In May of 2008, Ross graduated from law school Magna Cum Laude.

In his spare time, Ross enjoys camping, bird and big game hunting, golfing, and looks forward to the professional basketball season.

Ross is currently practicing primarily commercial transactions andlitigation.
