Gerry Fagan was born in Butte, Montana, on December 29, 1959 and was raised in Billings. He received a B.A. degree in Business Finance, with a minor in Economics, from Montana State University. He received his J.D. degree, with Honors, from the University of Montana in May, 1998. He was a staff member of the Montana Law Review in 1996-1997, and an Articles Editor in 1997-1998.

Gerry joined Moulton Bellingham in the fall of 1998, and became a shareholder in 2006.  His primary practice area is civil litigation, with an emphasis on products liability (representing clients such as General Motors (vehicles), Boehringer Ingelheim (vaccines), Charles Machine Works (industrial trenching machines), and Honda (vehicles and ATVs);  personal injury (including AIG, Farmers Insurance, and Montana Municipal Insurance Authority); bad faith insurance claims (including Farmers Insurance, Sedgwick Claims Management, and Gallagher Bassett Services); and business disputes (including Macerich Company, Big Sky Airlines, and Marshall Erdman & Associates, Inc.).  Gerry has also gained expertise in the legal and technological issues arising from the discovery in civil litigation of electronic information, including emails, in civil actions.

Gerry is married to Sherry, a Miles City native and a former local attorney and accountant.  Sherry recently chose to become a full time mom.  They enjoy raising their three children, Sam, Jake, and Amanda.  In the few spare minutes he has, Gerry enjoys golfing, reading nonfiction, and rooting for the Green Bay Packers (with or without Brett Favre).
